The "Need to Bead"

Welcome!

I hope that everyone had a wonderful Easter! I decided that posting on Monday was just fine considering the holiday :)

The past few weeks have been quite full of beading!  I worked on some more bracelets mainly and of course I had a few ideas of where to go next with the color choices....but here is a look at the last batch of bracelets with black sprinkled in:

I also spent two days updating my ArtFire studio with the Cluster Hoop Earrings, and updating the picture of my packaging, so that customers know what to expect and I think it will give them peace of mind that their order will not be damaged in the mail.

Over the next little while I plan to photograph all the new additions of the Beaded Crochet Bangle Bracelets (there are 42 of them) edit for sizing, then add them into the studio.

As much as I am LOVING my new laptop, I cannot lie...I do get a bit burnt out on computer overload sometimes.  I so enjoy the relaxation of creating and beading, but if I sit in front of the computer tons (like the two days I took to update everything) I miss the actual creative part, so I tend to take breaks so that I don't get too overwhelmed :)  Even though this means not reading my favorite blogs for a few days, or sometimes a week, I am creative by nature and must listen to that inner voice that never seems to be satisfied with the few hours a week I do have to create.  I made a joke when writing a little blurb for Molly who's blog I am on this month, calling it my "need to bead", well she posted it, and I guess that's exactly what it is... I NEED TO BEAD! It makes me so happy, it relaxes me, the ideas just keep coming and I love seeing the finished product, knowing that someone will love it as much as I do.

I have a few winners of giveaways that have yet to use their gift certificates, but I will let you know what they pick out for themselves when they do.

April won the giveaway on Shanna's  blog and this is what will be in the mail for her tomorrow:
Cobalt Blue Czech Glass Triple Wrap Leather Bracelet

Matte Black and Matte Rainbow Blue Delica Beaded Peyote Stitch Ring

I can't wait for her to receive them!  It's SO exciting for me...yes I know I have said that before, but it really is!  I guess I'm what you might call a "bead geek", but I am so excited that my pieces are slowly finding their way to new homes...where they will be appreciated and of course shown off!

So, I know I don't really write about personal things on here, but I have to admit that I myself enjoy reading about people when they do a "answering your questions" type of post.  So I thought maybe you (my lovely readers) may enjoy that as well?

If you would...leave a comment with something you would like to know about me and when I have enough questions I will do a post answering them for you.  If you are unable to leave a comment here you can always leave it on my Facebook page in the comment section of the link to this post :)

I appreciate your feedback!

Have a wonderful week :)
